Sweat and Balls

I absolutely love tennis. My children play tennis. My husband and I even try to play tennis. But what I cannot bear to see is those poor ball boys and girls handling those sweaty towels.
I suppose some would be delighted to have the sweaty DNA of Fedderer or Sharapova in their hands but on a serious note it is quite disgusting. When I see the tennis player point at his towel I think to myself about what those poor boys and girls are thinking.
Maybe they are not bothered, just deliriously happy to be in the presence of a great player or perhaps they try to hold it with the tips of their fingers and pray they won’t be asked to get it too often.
I don’t have a solution. Perhaps the towels could be placed on a tray. I remember seeing on television once, a match with Billie Jean King at Wimbledon. She and her opponent had to get their own drinks, did not have a seat and had to stand up in the sun with no umbrella!
How far we have come that now our tennis players only need to point and everything is to hand.

Walker Texas Ranger

I don't understand why everybody resists arrest or decides to fight with Walker and Trevette when try to speak to or try to arrest them. Don't Texas Rangers command any respect?

The Streets are lined with....

I took my little boy to Milan the other day. We were practically doing the tango together, holding on to each other to avoid the poo poo. I can't understand why people let their dogs do it on the pavement and don't pick it up. Well I do understand it's awful. Who would want to pick it up - even with a plastic bag between you and it.

Well we have a dog and yes when we take her out we do have to pick up her, er 'droppings'.
I once saw a man in London giving his dog's bum a good clean after she had done her business. I wouldn't go that far. Potty training three children has exposed me to more poo than I needed in this lifetime!

Well I won't be a hypocrite. Probably about fifteen years ago we were walking our dog near a famous castle in Milan (popular for tourists) when she decided to do a poo in a perfect semi-circle. We were so embarrassed and not having anything to clean up with we hot-footed it of there!
